Restorative Nursing
Our rehabilitative / restorative team provides three levels of care and is lead by professional specialists in therapy and nursing who are specially trained in working with frail and fragile clients.
These levels include:
- Level one: Professional therapists evaluate our residents and develop a plan of care that is implemented by the entire nursing team.
- Level two: Restorative nursing assistants are supervised by professional nurses and have been trained in continuing a rehabilitation plan of care developed by the professional therapist.
- Level three: The entire general nursing staff has received specialized education that provides for restorative care twenty hours each day.
This comprehensive program enables are clients to achieve maximal function potential and self-sufficiency. Reaching and maintaining quality of life is an integral part of the care. Goals are developed that identify specific needs of each client. The client and family are assisted with adjusting to alterations in life style and environment. Careful consideration is given to individual needs and concerns. The resident and family are the center of this care.
